People aren't plugged into the game as if it's real life, so a Governor can legitimately just ignore the problem and log in every few days to check the ledger then just fuck off again.

Right now it's basically "collude with an opposing faction and convince your faction to not defend them in a war." There needs to be a better system around overthrowing an oppressive Governor from within your own faction. AGS could also add non-tradable monster drops that can only be sold at the NPC trader for larger sums of money.Įdit: And obviously scrap the salvage system. Players would be able to sell their unwanted gear and items as another means of income. The simple fix for this would be NPC traders in every town. Some of the main factors as to why the currency is gaining value so quickly, other than it’s not easily created, is the high tax burden for crafting, home ownership, and armor repair. As most people have witnessed, these resources have been sliding in price since the game came out, not because they’ve become easier to get but because money has become more valuable than the resources themselves. The medium of exchange (currency) is the problem. The economy itself is not the problem as there will always be a need for the raw resources that go into making end-game gear. The rate at which any given player can extract it, is simply not sustainable. As of right now, the only way to “create” currency is through monster drops, salvage, and quests. Too much money is leaving circulation than can be replaced.
